I have complete trust in Dr Thomson. He listens carefully and is willing to discuss any ideas that I may have. His care and attention are second to none and I came away from my consultation very reassured that my health was in very, very capable, caring hands.
I found my appointments with Dr. Thompson to be 100% to my satisfaction. He listened and acted upon the things I said to him. He gave good advice and made sure I was given good advice from other professionals (dietician?.
Thank you for referral to Kirsten Winton for physiotherapy. After one week of specified pelvic floor exercise I have some improvement. BUT the bleeding experienced after my fall (c April 2017) is much worse after the colonoscopy, biopsies and proctogram. I have photos taken this morning 22 March 2018 and wondered if they indicate "normal" symptoms. My GP has advised that things always look worse than they are! I have become border line anaemic despite dietary supplement. I am prepared to keep going with the proscribed treatment but thought you may want this feedback in case the bleed issue is significant. Will show photos at next appointment with Kirsten 19th April .
Kind regards, Sue Hyett
It is difficult to suggest how this gentleman could improve “to give greater care”. His knowledge, demeanour and communication skills are excellent.
Found my appointment with Dr Thomson a positive experience and I was able to be frank about my illnesses but due to number of problems I have I could not have expected him to cover everything. The only reason for four stars is that in my discharge letter I was referred to as having previous mental health problems when I told him I have had one three month battle with depression which in 75 years is not a mental health problem and realise how easy it is to apply labels.
Kind regards Dr Thomson
